The fruits of filibuster reform

The 113th Senate passed filibuster reform in January, and in March we've already seen dramatic results of both sides of the compromise.

The first week of March Rand Paul filibustered, in the traditional standing format, the John Brennan CIA nomination for almost 13 hours bringing us #StandWithRand.

The last week of March the Senate voted for more than 13 hours on amendments and passed a budget.

And all this while avoiding nuclear winter.

Praise the Lord!
