End Infanticide Hearing

On September 10, 2019, Republican Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Rep. Ann Wagner (R-MO), in partnership with Pro-Life Caucus Chairman Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ), held a minority hearing entitled “End Infanticide: Examining the Born Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act” on H.R. 962, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. More than 43 Members were present at the hearing.

This hearing examined H.R. 962, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, and its continued relevance to the debate regarding the protection of human life in the United States amid the Democrat Majority’s refusal to allow its consideration even though it is a commonsense bill supported by 77 percent of Americans and 70 percent of Democrats.
